Rilz https://padlet.com/Rilz/metowe/wish/42071747 Me to we started when two brothers named Marc and Craig Kielburger were on a trip in Ecuador building a school. They had two days left and the school wouldn't be finished in time. So they went to the village chief and asked her what she could do and she shouted " tomorrow, there will be a minga " the people in the village hardly looked up. Disappointed the brothers walked back to the cabin were they where staying and told the volunteers that they couldn't finish in time. The brothers went to sleep feeling defeated. The next morning when they woke up they were surprised that everybody from the neighboring villages were all coming to gather to build the school.  The chief explained that a minga was a call to action. Translated it means: “a community coming together to work for the benefit of all.” And they finished in time because everyone came together to help. And that's what me to we is about. When they got back from Ecuador they wanted to make a foundation that made youth excited about helping others all across the world and that's how me to we started.

less fortunate families in our communities. So our

 school held a Canadian Tire money drive

to buy things for the kids and adults for Christmas.

The school collects the money and then gives it to

Me to We to take to Canadian Tire which then gives

them the same amount in cash so they can buy

toys and other things for the less fortunate for

Christmas.

Me to we has also collected sports jerseys to

give orphans in Cameroon Africa. So that the kids

can play sports on teams against other communities.
