         <title>Britain created a policy of limiting westward expansion in the colonies which didn&#39;t make the colonies happy. &amp;nbsp;The more the colonies rebelled, the more oppressive acts Britain used against them which led to the colonies ultimately uniting. &amp;nbsp;Due to the the two against each other, the &amp;nbsp;colonies began to tax English exports which led to boycotting them. &amp;nbsp;Britain knew that it would have to go to war with the colonies eventually.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The colonies were the definite "underdog" in the war against England. &nbsp;Some of the advantages America had were they were fighting on home soil, the rise of nationalism, and the belief in a free America.  </p><p>England had many advantages such as a huge navy, strong military, and more resources. &nbsp;</p><p>On April 19, 1775, the British regulars encountered a group of American militiamen at Lexington, and the first shots of the&nbsp;<b>American Revolution</b>&nbsp;were fired.</p>]]></description>
