I watched the water from my taps drip down and tried to see how fast it would go. I experimented with filling a cup with water and seeing how much water it would take to fill a coffee mug. Evaporation off of bodies of water such as our oceans. The water is in the atmosphere and builds up. Eventually it falls in the form of rain; waters our plants and provides us our drinking water. I hung the chain on my front door, I wrapped it around my stair railing, and I also laid it onto the planter box in my front yard. I also put them into an ice cube tray. I froze the tray and after it was frozen I took the ice cubes out and put them into a glass of water. The materials I used were clovers, bark mulch, and yellow buttercup petals. With the clover flower I tied them all together to make a flower chain then I started to experiment with it. I placed a stick straight into the ground and observed the shadow the sun made. As the sun moved across the sky the shadow moved. My eye was immediately drawn to the fresh juices and salad dressings displayed in the coolers. Everything was arranged in size from small to large. When I walked further into the grocery store my eyes were drawn to the display of the multiple vegetables on the back wall. It was so perfectly displayed it reminded me of a photograph; arranged by colour and type of vegetable. The desserts were perfectly arranged by colour, type, and height. As I continued shopping I noticed all the different sizes and shapes of my fruit in my cart. The sizes of my fruit were arranged from small blueberries up to a large cantaloupe. Math was everywhere around me.

Patterns were everywhere around my house. In light shades, on screen doors, on partitions, on sidewalks, and in cloth to name a few. There were rectangles, squares, triangles, circles, and even tear drop shapes.

Most of the stains and splotches I found were on pavement on the ground. Most of them just seemed to be circles to me but one sure looked like a pony.
