Tropical Islands:
In this picture I see many tropical trees, sand and water. The climate in this place is warm and cool. It is located in Hawaii, Fiji, Bahamas etc.
Volcano:
In this picture I see a volcano that is surrounded by water. The weather is warm and hot. It is in Japan in the Ring of Fire.
Desert:

Picture 1 - I see a tropical landform. It's an island because it is surrounded by water.

The climate is most probably a tropic climate which is about 18 Celsius.

They are found in sea's or oceans.

Islands are their own countries or area's under charge of other countries like Hawaii for USA. Some Islands Are - Hawaii , New Guinea , Maui , Bora Bora , Bali and many more.

Features - Surrounded by water , they are small and they are formed by volcano eruption.

Picture 2 - I see smoke meaning it is a volcano and a huge amount volcano's are located in Japan.

The climate must be like it is supposed to be like it is but near a volcano it should be really hot due to the molten lava sitting in the chamber.

Some Volcano's are located in Iceland, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Mexico , Ethiopia, Guatemala, Ecuador and many more countries.

Picture 3 - I see a desert with nothing really except for sand and people.

Deserts are hot in the night and cold in the night. A thing about deserts is that it only rains leaving 10 inches of rain per year!

Deserts are found in many countries like - India , China , UAE , Saudi Arabia and the entire continent of Africa.

Features of Desert - Sand, Humidity, Drought, Temperature, Precipitation and much more.

Picture 4 - I see a lake which is freezing in sheets of ice next to snow mountains. It is a lake but if it was any narrower it would be a Fjord.

The climate must be cold judging by the slightly frozen river.

These lakes can be located in Canada, Switzerland, Iceland and more countries.

2 Features of Lakes are Shapes and Temperatures

Picture 5 - I see many animals but Polar Bears indicating The North Pole.

The climate is freezing cold and only thick furred animals can survive here.

Well a North pole is a place and the only North Pole but animals like Polar Bears can be found in the Arctic Circle. The countries in the Arctic Circle are - Canada, Russia, Alaska, Greenland and Norway.

A feature of the North Pole is the temperature.

Picture 6 - I see penguins indicating the opposite of North Pole. It is the South Pole.

The climate is really cold.

Well same as the North Pole there is only one South Pole.

Features - Ice, temperature, wind, dryness because of all the ice.

The climate in the polar regions is very cold and below freezing. The average temperature is10 Celsius. The summers aren't warm at all.

Answer- The weather in the Arctic and Antarctic circle is different because the Arctic is on frozen water. The Antarctic is on ice caps that are almost a mile over the water causing the Antarctic to be colder than the Arctic.

Answer- In the temperate zones the summers are mild and the winters are cold. Throughout the whole year the temperature is moderate.

Answer- The reason that temperatures are different in temperate zones are because of two reasons:
-Height: If the altitude of a place higher the place is colder and if the altitude is lower the place is warmer.
-Coast: If a place is on the coast it is colder because the sea is very windy.

The torrid zone is a zone in middle of the temperate zone. This zone receives a lot of sun rays since it is near the Equator, thus the more warmer temperature.

The temperature is warmer since the rays of the sun fall directly vertically over this area all year round.

A factor responsible for this is the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn. It also receives maximum heat from the sun.

Since many small parts of different continents like Asia, Africa, South America, Australia are in this zone many countries like - Chile, Mexico, Australia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Ghana and more lye in this zone.

This zone is know for it's vegetation. They are roses, neem, mosses, coral, trees and coconuts only to name a few.

There are many animals in this zone since there are many grasslands. Some animals are- Zebra, lion, jaguar, kangaroo, cheetahs and many more.

I see - I see many different changes in all the beautiful places on earth. For example the shrinking of a glacier.

I think - I think that there are many different reasons this can happen. Perhaps drier areas have drought or less precipitation or shrinking of a glacier because of global warming. There are even more causes like deforestation, over population, over consumption and more. These causes are also chain reacting more natural disaster and changes like floods from to much melted water.

Volcano - They are slow because it takes a while for them to erupt but they can construct an island in water, destroy cities or the small radius around it because the liquid can melt almost anything. Volcanoes can be found in Japan Iceland and more countries and oceans.

Soil Erosions - Soil erosions are a gradual process but they destroy soil around them and create landslides. This can be found anywhere really but can commonly be found on cliffs, or even mountains.

Avalanche - Avalanches or landslides can be a gradual process but when it is time for it to happen it is really fast. These can destroy many things and avalanches will melt and rise the sea levels.

Wildfires - This sporadic change can burn down a huge part of a forest if it is not contained. They can be found in temperate or torrid zones.

Earthquake - These are really slow processes but they can destruct a lot of buildings and houses but they can also construct mountain like the Himalayas.

Today, I learnt about different natural disasters and how they form in particular areas such as volcanoes form by magma and they form in the ring of fire which includes places such as Japan, New Zealand. Landslides form due to heavy rainfalls. they can also form along with volcanic eruptions. Landslides occur in steep areas. Earthquakes happen in areas where the tectonic plates bump into each other so then the crust shakes in that particular area. This was the reflection of what I learned in all the videos and articles.

Video 2- The causes of floods are: heavy rain, tsunami, over flow of river. hurricanes, melting of glaciers, breaking of dams, etc.
Video 3- Different land-forms constantly change. Water changes the land through erosion. Erosion occurs when the surface of the earth wears away. The ocean is a powerful cause of erosion. Rivers can make changes too. Ice can cause erosion too. Glaciers can create different land-forms. Water is not the only force that changes the planet.

I learnt the difference between erosion and weathering. Weathering is when the rock is broken down or weathers away in the same location. Erosion is when the object is taken away by the wind or water and keeps moving, breaking it.
