During the Sino-Japanese war, Japan fought for territory. They raided the capital of China, a quiet and wholesome place called Nanking. This horrific 7 week event was called the forgotten Holocaust. It was a time before Adolf Hitler but was still as gruesome.

On August 6, 1945, the U.S dropped the first atomic bomb over Hiroshima. The blast was ver catastrophic. It was more lethal then all the bombs dropped during WW2 . People, buildings and streets were vaporized in seconds after impact. It was horrific but it didn't stop there. 3 days later, August 9, the Major dropped a second atomic bomb to destroy Nagasaki. This bomb was even more deadlier than the one for Hiroshima however, Nagasaki's geographic structures helped reduce the blasted. As tragic as it is, the damage could've been worse.
