I like this image because of the complete focus on everything in the front and how much detail there is in the cereal. What I like about this photograph is the focus and view of the cup surrounded by sugary, chocolatey cereal. This photo is a good photo because it most captures the shine of the utensils but it also captures some of the cereal on the top. I like this image because it captures the action of the spoon having cereal on it and being used. With f/1.8, there is not a lot of focus on the background and the utensils aren't as shiny. With f/8, most of the photo is in focus and it captures more, which is why I prefer Aperture f/8. One thing I learned about food photography is that everything doesn't have to be perfect, but it has to fit in with the purpose of the photograph. Food is very important in our everyday lives so why not try our best to capture the beauty of it. Another thing I have learned about food photography is the arrangement and sorting of everything that is or will be part of the photo. The sorting of the food and utensils is important because it has to make sense in the image but it also has to be unique to others' eyes.
