Someone told me once that if you're bored teaching the lesson, at least one of your students will bored too. Do things that you've seen past teachers do to make your lessons interesting, put a lot of energy and creativity into it and I am sure your students will enjoy it!
(I know there are several interactive websites like Kahoot out there for your students to interact with the lesson digitally on a technology standpoint as well. I put the link below if you'd like to check it out.) Hope that helps!
https://kahoot.com/?utm_name=controller_app&utm_source=controller&utm_campaign=controller_app&utm_medium=link

In order to keep students engaged, it's important to make the lessons fun! I remember in my science classes in middle school, my teacher let us watch YouTube videos of Bill Nye the Science Guy that related to the topic that we were discussing. Doing hands-on projects like making slime, rockets, or growing your own butterflies can keep your future students interested in your lesson!

Hi Alex! This is a great question and is similar to my own; however, I feel that the best way to make a class fun is by knowing your students learning style. Once you understand how they learn best, you can make learning fun and also feasible for them. Make experaments, have students get up and move around, maybe even take students outside on a sunny day for an experament and incorporate the lesson into the real world. I have a feeling your classroom will be very fun one day.

There are tons of ways to keep the lessons interesting for the student's so they are not just sitting there. This class has given us many resources to use that will keep students involved. My personal favorites are Powtoon and Edmodo. You, as a teacher, need to be interested in what you are teaching. If you are bored and out of it, then the students will be bored and out of it.

I think the best way to ensure that all students learn from our lessons is to incorporate multiple types of learning into the lesson. An example of this would be watching a video, using hands on learning (if possible), using a lecture, using learning games, and using online study guides.
Quizlet
Kahoot
YouTube
StoryBird

There are many ways to get students involved in your lesson. Technology is a great tool to make learning fun and interesting. For example, you can allow your students to create Powerpoints, Powtoons, videos, etc. Most students are hands on learners therefore allowing them to create what they are learning can make things fun!

I think the best thing to do is keep it interesting, and have fun with your lessons. You can also always do assessments that are super easy and fun to the students such as class games. I think this will keep your students interested so they soak up all the information you teach like little unique sponges.
