What is a story that needs to be told? Whose story might you tell? Or, where will you go looking for a story that needs to be told?
How will you tell your story? Oral presentation? Short-documentary? Book? Website? Multimedia? Photostory?

1. the importance of story telling comes from the after-effects of telling a story, more importantly a biography so we can predict, with some level of accuracy, who to trust and who not to trust, based on their backgrounds at least. people with similar backgrounds tend to act similarly when they're older.

2. there is a lot hatred surrounding this man, but i believe his story has to be told. this man is, of course, Hitler. his story is interesting, to say the least, and i think this story can explain a lot of his actions as an adult. i think that the stories that we need to tell are those of bad people especially, so that the same mistakes can be somehow avoided. i would tell this story.

3. i would use some kind of talk or writing, trying to make it as professional and unbiased as possible

1. Storytelling can change the way you imagine or picture something or someone when they are talking about something you don't truly know about. It could help you think about a hard situation, and it will make you think about how you act.

2. A story that you know that can help people change their way of thinking for a common good. Stories about people who had pass thought something that could be hard to accept, or hard to believe.

3. I would use some kind of pictured story, because I fell that when you use pictures as writing it helps to reader to get more inside the story and understand it much better.

Brain Chemistry and Story Telling.

1. The power of story telling, is that is has the ability to change the brain chemistry depending on the story. A sad yet inspiring story makes the person produce oxytocyn and cortisol, and those were the chemicals mostly linked to empathy and distress. I'm curious if one could make a story to control someone; not lying, but control their brain chemistry to make them do what you want. What about telling a story strong enough that a person wants to take it's own life. I'm not sure if there's a story someone gets so connected to that at the end he decides to do that, but it's something interesting for me to think about.

2. Stories are everywhere, but as in a video they talked that stories that have the most impact when they are structured with the dramatic arc. Even though, I'm sure real life stories most of the times they don't go with that basic rising, climax etc. Stories still have the power depending on the topic, so I will look for some story that someone could relate to or is shocking.

3.I cant tell you, but I like telling stories. Lots of weird stuff happen to me (most time it's my fault because of my crazy curiosity), and I like to tell people what's happened to me. So I would probably would like to do the tedtalk way, but it depends on what I'm going to tell. I'm sure that sad stories are better transmited with pictures, being able to look at something and then have a clear image of it through that story makes it more personal. If something happens to that character you saw, the person would see the event clearly, and how that character felt and physical reactions etc... So the story depends on how you should transmit it.

1. Story telling is important because it gives value to people's lives, changes a person's way of thinking/being, and ultimately brings people together. Likewise, I truly believe that stories represent the human condition, in the way that they create empathy, they help as a tool to transmit knowledge, and can motivate people to change their lives or even the world.

2. I have many ideas on mind. Firstly, I have been thinking about telling my father's story, as he used to be a police officer who lost his leg while fighting for his country, what he truly believed in (his story is truly inspiring). I have also though about telling the story of one of the elders from my social service in Cottolengo, since most of these people have had tough lives, they have no family, have lives in the streets, have been in jail, have been addicted to drugs, and the have, still, managed to surmount their problems and become the happy, kind, and knowledgeable people I know them to be.

3. I have been thinking of writing a Chronicle (as a form of a more artistic Journalism), since primarily writing is one of my biggest passions, or I would aso like to do a documentary (to sort of transmit images, and give the audience a visual representation of my story).

Story telling is very important since it gives the chance both for the writer and for the reader, to know something else. To inform the world of something that happen, or just to entertain. Having the ability to entertain is very important since it shows the persons great imagination.

1. Story telling is more engaging and more often remembered than, say a set of facts, because it is compelling to us emotionally. Once we are engaged with a story, we can transport ourselves into that story. Even though we know it is fictional, parts of our brain simulate those of a character in the story (or more than one). Emotional simulation is the basis for empathy. Empathy helps us build relationships with strangers. When we know someone's story we form a relationship. These relationships have allowed our species to be very successful. We also learn through story telling. We want to know the story of a person who got in a car crash because it is exciting and because we want to know what that person did that helped or didn't because that information may be helpful. Something very interesting about story telling is that the way it is told really matters. It is a lot more compelling to hear it from an original source than for a person to read it him or herself.
2. I might speak to one of my teachers for a story or I might go to my friend's maid whom I know has had some rough times.
3. Personally, I would prefer to have someone narrate it, at least for engagement purposes. However, I will probably write it.

1. Storytelling is powerful because it is told in a way that forces people to connect with the story. It has the power to create an emotional connection with the reader. Additionally, when a story is told in the right way, it will have a significant impact on the person reading it, and that is incredibly powerful; to be able to change one's life through a story.

2. I was thinking about writing the story of my father, since it is one that since I was young I loved to hear. To see how he made his way through life, learning and growing and achieving for himself, even if he didn't have all the opportunities or all the support. Another story I consider telling is the story of my maid. She is a woman who has suffered all her life. The way I see it, she was always in the middle of all the trouble and always came unharmed. Well, unharmed in a way that she didn't die but had to cope with the death of her parents and some of her siblings.

3. I don't really know how I want to transmit the story, but I would prefer to write it rather than talk about it, I don't consider myself good at telling stories orally. I'm not really sure what I'm gonna do, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Storytelling has lots of positive powers, some of them are that it helps us maintain or remember the information much more easier, if an anecdote is told in a creative and interesting way, our brains will maintain for a longer time the story. Also storytelling helps us connect with the story through empathy. Lastly our brains are designed to learn from stories.

#2. Its not just like reading off of a history book, because with story telling you can connect and transport yourself through the connections you make with your feelings and how the story is told. the power in storytelling that other assets and ways do not have, is that they have the ability to engage the other person by making them feel as if they were right there.

2.
