I noticed in this story that, Joanna loves to play basketball and she is really good at it. She has a really high hoop sixteen feet to be exact. She has never played basketball with anyone before so she was surprised that a boy asked her to play cause they thought she was a boy cause she had a hat on and her hair was tucked in. Even though she was a girl she could play as good as the boys I can relate to that. Even if you are a girl you can still play sports as good as the boys. T.J said sorry that he was mean to her because he was jealous she was getting all the attention and that she was so good at it cause she practiced with her dad. I also noticed the moral of the story is that sports can be played by boys and Girls and don't let boys tell you something like.... "your a girl you cant play sports! ha ha!" cause anyone can play sports if they want to and if they enjoy it
`~~~Shayna~~~

I noticed that "Jo" was really good at shooting hoops and the boys she met let her play basketball with them not know ing she was a girl because she had a hat on.T.J. , one of the boys, got mad and wasn't very kind to her after she blocked the shot T.J. had tried to make. They asked her to make a slam dunk, and after she did it, her hat fell off. They all noticed who she really was; a girl. T.J. was disgusted now that he realized the boy that had blocked his shot was really a girl, but he pulled through and apologized to who's name really was Joanna. She forgave him and they all introduced themselves. They became friends. They gave her the nickname "Jumpin' Joe." They said to her that she should come and play any time she wanted. I can reenfer to the story that they all probably became friends. The lesson, or moral to the story is that no matter what gender you are you can play with the opposite gender, be kind to everyone no matter how old small, smart, popular thy are and yourself. It might surprise you like how the boys were when they discovered that Joanna was a girl.

I noticed that Joanna loves basketball she has a sixteen foot hoop that is a super high hoop right. I can relate something that happened to my aunt she use to play soccer. The boy's on her team said you are a girl you can't play soccer. Then she stud up for her self and said just because I am a girl does not mean I can not play soccer. She was so good a it. She scored a lot of goals for her team and she was proud of her self. Joanna is a girl and even tho she is a girl that does not mean she can not play sports like boy's. Even if you are a girl you can still play sports. Never let the boy's be mean to you. You can play sports you are girl. don't let the boy's bully you.

~~~Gia~~~
I noticed that Jo has had lots of practice playing basketball. She wowed every one because he could jump all the way to sixteen feet! Even her father could touch it with the help of a broom! When the boys accidentally hit her with the ball they said sorry, and asked Jo if she wanted to play. They mistaken Jo for a boy because she had a hat on, but she went with it. Later on Jo dunked the ball, and her hat fell off!! They where fine that she was a girl, and invited her to play anytime! (T.G said sorry to her for being rude.)
~~Adrianne~~
