Social media plays a big role in inspiring and influencing people to travel. Seeing photos and travel stories of friends or influencers can stimulate one's interest in visiting new places.

A bad thing because it often causes environmental damage, including air pollution, plastic waste and damage to natural ecosystems. It also disrupts the experience for tourists and damages the environment and local life.

Overturism during Yogyakarta's birthday at Tugu, a lot of people came to Tugu, both locals and tourists from various cities.
