Force is simply a push or pull, it will change the motion of an object. This was seen in the table cloth magic activity when the first time the cloth was pulled off quickly some of the objects fell because of the force used when the cloth was pulled of the table the objects on top didn't have no support. This relates to newtons first law because newtons first law states that an object at the rest remains at rest and an object in motion remains in motion at a constant sped and in a straight line unless acted on by an unbalanced force and in the activity when the cloth was pulled of that was an act of friction.

This was shown in the hoop and marker activity when we had to place the marker on top of the hoop which was on top of a glass jar and drop it into the jar. When the everything was sitting there perfectly still that's when it was in motion.
