  • Start with a general overview of your topic. 
  • Keep the introduction brief (especially the first sentences/paragraph) as well as clear and concise. 
  • Say something unusual or unexpected to hook your reader.
  • Give important background information. For instance, about the problem about you will focus your research. 
  • Present your main point (the thesis statement or the research question), don’t write too much information or stories.

    • Extra tip! If you are doing a small assignment: Don’t repeat the title and try to use the word “you” at least once, for persuading your reader.

As you can see through my experiment, using Huggies over Pampers can help parents to avoid embarrassing diaper leaks and ensure their baby’s skin stays dry avoiding diaper rash and skin irritation. But that begs the question, is Huggies the best in leak protection among all brands? That would take a bit more research.

    2. Language can be powerful and sometimes even harmful, but censorship of language is one of the worst things we can do as a society. I believe that the content of the song is more important than a few curse words. If a song's content is designed to provoke, intimidate, or make someone feel inferior, then I believe that is more harmful than a few impolite words in a chorus.

It is common for students to wear distinctive clothes in schools, but by the time they reach adolescence, they tend to despise the enforcement of uniforms. The opposition creates controversies on school grounds, with teachers demanding coordinated outfits and students refusing to oblige. School uniforms are meant to ensure equality and discipline; however, they mostly are seen as an infringement of human rights limiting students’ self-esteem and adding financial losses to low-income families.
