In order to gain a wide range of understanding about the physical state of water

1. we froze coloured water in plastic cups and then observed it melting in room temperature keeping notes.

In our kindergarten, we explored the results of our lentil experiment with great excitement! The tiny seeds had grown roots, along with a green stem and leaves. Meanwhile, the seeds we had placed in the cupboard had also grown, but their stems and leaves were yellow.

The children were curious about this difference and shared their ideas. Together, we discovered that the seeds kept in the dark did not receive sunlight, which is why they couldn’t grow green like the others.

We also enjoyed a fun water vapor experiment, where we created our own “rain” and observed the process step by step! 🌧️

Mrs. Petrova's group "Rainbow of Dreams" from the "March Eighth" Kindergarten conducted an experiment on plant growth that turned them into young botanists and taught them to observe, track and care for plants. We placed the sprouts to germinate in the light and in the dark. We monitored that the germination in the dark grew, but we found that the stems were yellow, elongated and weak because they did not receive enough sunlight. And those that were in the light looked healthy, stable and green because sunlight was the main factor for their growth. We reflected the experiment through images in drawings.
