         <description><![CDATA[<p>In Germany Christmas is celebrated on the 24th December. It is the last day of the advent calendar and the start of the Christmas season.</p><p>People spend the afternoon and evening decorating Christmas trees, eating Christmas lunches and dinners and opening and receiving presents. After they eat there Christmas dinner they go to the church. During the mass they bring baby Jesus out for everyone to kiss. For there Christmas dinner they eat cod fish with boiled potatoes. When they are in mass Father Christmas brings present and leave it under the Christmas tree. On Christmas Day the church is vey full and people come out wearing their traditional clothes. After they have been in the church they go back to their houses to give and receive gifts. Traditional food includes stew or orka soup, porridge, meats rice and some yam paste.          <description><![CDATA[<p>In Slovakia Christmas trees are decorated with coloured lights, fruits, handmade decorations made of wood they also bake things in the form of angels and other religious symbols. These are kept until the 6th of January. Christmas Eve is the most important day for the Slovakia people, it is called 'Stedry den' (the generous day). The actual evening is called 'Stedry vecer' (the generous evening. The Christmas season itself is called 'Vianoce'. In Slovakia the presents are brought by Jesus, a common tradition is that the children have to leave the room when Jesus are giving the present. In India all public places are closed, although people in India celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December they still believe his real birthday is unconfirmed.          <description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Christmas for Serbs who are Christmas orthodox is celebrated on th 7th of January not on the 25 of December like we do. They also have a Christmas dinner after something called badnjak. Badnjak is when the head of each family usually accompanied by some male adults go to cut down a tree for a log for their house when the tree falls they shoot a little gu bullet in the air to simple its fall. They also have big bonfires.
