THE JOURNEY

We left from Poland on 26th April at 9 AM. We crossed five countries: Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, North Macedonia and Greece.

WE'RE FINALLY HERE!

After a long journey, we went for a walk along the beach. Then, we ate delicious supper. After that, we met near the beach and our guide told us about the rules in the hotel and in hotel area.

THE FIRST DAY

On the first day, we decided to explore Erateini - our area. We admired old buildings and the Greek Catholic church. After that we went to Greek shops to bought souvenires and some snacks.

THE REST OF THE FIRST DAY

We came back to have dinner. After that we used hotel facilities, like ping-pong tables and tennis court. We also played volleyball and swam in pool. The water was cold!

MUSIC SCHOOL IN AMPHISSA

On the second day we had classes in music school. Greek students showed us their music culture. They sang Greek songs, playing Greek music on piano and showed us their traditional dance. After classes we explored their school. We had some free time, so we used it to talk with students.

THE REST OF THE SECOND DAY

When we came back and ate dinner, we went to the swimming pool. Today, the water wasn't that cold. After that, we ate delicious supper and went to our rooms.

After classes we explored the Amphissa town. There were so many stairs and we couldn't wait until we reach the top. When we finally reached the top, we saw narrow streets and stone houses. We admired scary paintings on animals skins.

OUR HOTEL

Our hotel is located in a lovely place near the beach. It's in Erateini. It's called "Erateini Delphi Beach". We have breakfast, dinner and supper here. They are delicious!

We have permission to use sports facilities like: tennis court, swimming pool, ping-pong tables and we can play voleyball here. We also have 30 metres to the beach. Every morning we have fitness with Mr. Tomek (he's our P.E. teacher) there.

There's a hotel lobby near the reception. There are so many couches here and we can sit and relax here.

MINE IN GREECE - THIRD DAY

On third day we went to boxite mine. We learned about mining boxite. After that we went to the museum of boxite. We could buy souvenirs there, but they were too expensive.

GALAXIDI - BEAUTIFUL PLACE

On the rest of the third day we went to the Galaxidi town. We bought ice cream there. There were so many cats there! After that, the teachers organized city games. We had to find a boat and think of a way how we can earn money to buy it. Our second task was to find a flower, learn its name and learn how to care for it . The third task was finding three interesting symbols on buildings, learn what they mean and what they are for.

WE LEARNED ABOUT ANCIENT TIMES - THE FIFTH DAY

On this day we went to Delphi to learn about ancient Greek history. We visited the Delphi museum where we saw many interesting statues. After that we saw a cute dog. Then we admired archeological sites and ancient buildings: the old Greek theatre, the ancient stadium and the Temple of Apollo. After sightseeing, we went to buy some souvenires and ate ice cream.

A LAZY DAY

On the fourth day the weather was very bad so we stayed at the hotel area. At the evening we divided into groups. Our task was make a interactive school notice board about our stay in Greece.

After supper, we went for a long walk along the coast.

ANCIENT CORINTH

On this day we went to ancient Corinth. To get on the Peloponnese peninsula we went by ferry. When we arrived to Corinth, we went sightseeing around a museum and ancient ruins. We saw a Apollo's temple. Next, we saw the Corinth Canal. We learned that it makes the sea voyage around Greece a few hundred kilometers shorter.

NAFPAKTOS

On this day we went to the little town called Nafpaktos near Rio-Antirio Bridge. We went for a walk to see a clock tower. Then we went to buy some souvenirs and ate ice cream. Then we back to hotel and went to the beach for a walk. We saw a turtle shell. Then we went back to hotel and ate delicius supper.

THE NINTH DAY

On this day we went to small town called Efpalio. We went sightseeing around two museums. The first one was the folklor museum. We could feel like people from 100 years ago. Then we visited barber museum - it's the only one in Greece. Next, we went to Greek school. We were greeted by the school headmaster, then Greek students showed us their traditional dances, and in return we showed them our dance. After that we had some time to play football or volleyball with them. Some of us went on a tour around the school.

Next we went to the hotel and went to the beach. It was a great day.

THE TENTH DAY

On this day we were doing some quizes about things we learnt during our stay in Greece. After dinner we went to Erateini town to buy some food for the journey back home. Next we went to the olive oil factory. After supper we had a "Greek evening" by the pool. We watched traditional Greek dances and listened to traditional Greek music.

THE LAST DAY IN GREECE?

On this day, we summary all days of project. Our teachers gave us certifcates. We took last photos with our trip pilot Ignacy and went to the pool for last time.
