Here is some text evidence I found steamboats can carry more goods at a quicker pace then older ships.While old sail ship only had one or two these ones have more then thirty sails.While the boat trip from New York to Albany usually takes most of a week Robert Fulton ship the clermont did it in a day and a half.The clipper ships went over the ocean waves instead of smacking into them.
