In a Christian marriage the couple do the sacraments of Holy Matrimony. Which is where the couple agree to mirror the union of Christ and his church. The wedding usually takes place in a church which is where the bride is escorted down the aisle by her parents. After the alter and the bride and groom exchange rings they kiss and get followed down the aisle by the wedding party. After this most weddings have a celebration or party where they do activities to the personal taste of the couple.

Most people would believe that either heaven or hell awaits them once they die. It would be determined on how they lived their life. Although not all Christians share this believe in eternal life. A sacrament once called Extreme Unction and now the Last Rites are the Anointing of the Sick is often given to gravely ill people. In some countries a wake, or period of mourning and prayer precedes the funeral.
