External Sources
1. Political change
Political change such as a change in government can affect a business in a variety of different ways. For example, a change in government can mean a change in laws (Employment, Health and Safety) that the business has to adhere to.

2. Sociocultural change
A change in our habits such as our spending habits can affect the business in either a positive or negative way because if there is an increase in living costs, people will spend less which means businesses make less profit however if there is a decrease in living costs, spending increases which makes businesses are more profitable.

Internal Sources
1. Organisational Structure
Organisational structure can affect businesses and cause organisational change because if the organisational structure of a business degrades over time then this can allow for less efficiency and effectiveness.

2. People
Staff employed by the business to perform duties within the company represent organisation change because if people are not there to perform duties and transfer inputs to outputs the business will not be able to function.
