I am sorry for your loss. I know you don't have anyone to really talk to about this situation but hopefully i can help. The best thing you should do right now is let someone know whats going on. You cant be selfish and just think about you, you have to think about the others that care about her. Covering up isn't going to help its only going to make things worse because you have to keep covering up one lie with another. I know that you are hoping to get the house in better condition then call 911 but its not good for your mom to just lay there, and its not good on you to put yourself through all the stress. So what what people think if they're your real friends they will still stick by your side.

"And I stayed barricaded in our rooms." (Omololu 89). This word is important to the story because it has a lot to do with the situation because the whole house is basically blocked off.
Sympathetic- feeling, showing, or expressing sympathy. "she looked sympathetic, but that was probably because she had Vanessa as backup." ( Omololu 112) This word is important because theres a lot of sympathy and compassion that should be going on.
Dislodged- knock or force out of position. "after a few pulls the sheet started to get dislodged from over her head, and i could see some of her white rooted wiry red hair sticking out of the to." ( Omololu 156 ) this word is important in the story because theres a lot of wild things that happens in their house with all that stuff.

She would sit there for hours with her head just barley touching the dark wooden piano leg watching as her feet worked the pedals furiously.
