For example, it gives background because dignity back in the days this play takes place have dignity was most common among the higher classes. That helps people realize that both families are quite high up in the community which is important for the story. And it gives morals because having dignity meant you had honor and/or valor so you had to act a certain way if you were to retain your honor. My favorite line is "But their children's end, nought could remove". I chose this line because I thought it interesting that even in death the feud could be so strong. I also like it because they couldn't put there dignity aside after the deaths.
