In Agricultural Education, there are so many different domains of reading that we work with. Some classes in a school-based agricultural education program will have a lot of infographics or charts that need to be read. For example in industrial tech courses, students will have a lot of varying graphics that they will need to read and process and create something in response to it. Students in most Agricultural Education courses don't have a lot of "traditional" reading as they look for different hands on activities that help them learn. I did work with a teacher; however, that had students complete reading comprehension assignments as pre-labs for a dairy products and processing course. The thing about Agricultural Education is that reading can show up in almost every way, just depending on the methods used for the topic at hand.
