         <title>Similarities and Differences</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Similarities: </strong><br>- Both are used to convert chemical energy into electrical energy<br>-The more reactive metal becomes the negative electrode and the least reactive one becomes the positive electrode<br>- Both converts chemical energy into electrical energy by using oxidation-reduction reactions. <br><br><strong>Differences:</strong><br>- An electrolytic cell needs to be connected by a salt bridge and it is separated by 2 containers. <br>- An electrolytic cell needs 2 different acids while a simple cell only needs one.<br>- Electrolytic cell needs 2 different acids that contain the metal of the electrode in it while the simple cell does not require it to have the same metal as the electrode</div>]]></description>
