         <description><![CDATA[<div>Charles Crocker was born in Troy, New York . At the age of 14 Crocker joined the migration west to Indiana. Crocker lived on a farm. He started off working in farm jobs. At the age of 23, Charles brought up a small iron forge of his own. From the income from his small business he saved up to invest in an upcoming railroad in California. The railroad company was named the Western Pacific railroad. As a shareholder of the Wells Fargo bank he was also president of the bank. In Charles personal life, he was married to Marry Ann Deming. Together, they had four children.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Born on July 13, 1864, John Jacob Astor was an american real estate builder, investor, inventor, writer, and lieutenant colonel of the Spanish- American war. John married Ava Lowle Willing. John had four children with his partner. In his life, he helped develop the turbine engine and made millions from real estate. John grew up being the youngest of five siblings. Having four sister John sought out to be the best he can be. At the time of his untimely death he had a worth of 23 million dollars, or 2.3 billion dollars in today's money.          <title>Daniel Drew</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Daniel Drew was born on July 29, 1797. Daniel was a great American businessman, steamship, and railroad developer. Born in Carmel, New York, he was poorly educated. Daniel lost his father at the young age of fifteen. His father owned a small cattle farm in which Daniel found hardship. He conquered his hardships and made them to into successes. After the war of 1812 Daniel built a cattle-drovers business. By 1820 he moeved to New York City where he started up a new business called the Bull Head's Tavern. He soon after, partnered with two other drovers, buying cattle and selling them in New York City.&nbsp; Only three years later, he married to Roxanna Mead. By 1834 Daniel entered the steamboat business. In 1864 Daniel was interested in stocks and formed a firm in which later crumbled after his partners death. Daniel Drew lost 500,000$ then lost 1.5 million after the manipulation of the stocks.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Born on December 19, 1849, Henry Clay Flick was an American industrialist,financier, union buster, and art patron. As chairman of Carnegie Steel Company, he played a major role in the formation of the giant american steel company. In addition, Henry funded construction of the Pennsylvania Railroad.&nbsp; By 1881 Frick took over his grandfather's Whiskey company. He married his wife, having four children. His successful business devours made him one of the wealthiest people in the United States. On December 2, 1919 he died only weeks before his 70th birthday, leaving 2,000,000$ in trust funds behind.          <description><![CDATA[<div>James J. Hill was born in Eramosa Township, Ontario, Upper Canada on September 16, 1838. As James was growing up, a bow and arrow accident caused blindness in one of his eyes. Hill decided to take residence in St. Paul, Minnesota. By 1860 Hill working for wholesale grocers. He handled freight transfers, especially dealing with steamboat and railroads. By 1870 Hill started the Red River Transportation Company. James changed the PM&amp;M company for the better. During bankruptcy of Pm&amp;M Hill managed, to bring the net worth from 728,000$ to 25,000,000$. Hill&nbsp; built railroads from Minnesota to Wisconsin. After that Hill worked trying to expand the Trancontinental Railroad.
