Have you ever wondered what the term growth mindset meant? Well, a growth mindset is when you put a big effort into something. If you ever mess up or you can't accomplish is the first time you always work twice as hard. A child or an adult with a growth mindset has the power and potential to keep trying. Also a person with a growth mindset is a person who learns from their mistakes. One time I had a growth mindset in dance. I had to dance with the older girls and I didn't think I was capable to do that. But, I kept on practicing and practicing until I got it.

One time I had a growth mindset was in soccer.

One example of a growth mindset is when you play sports. If you are intimidated by the other team you will most likely lose. But, if you believe you can do it and keep trying hard you will have a better chance. Also, if people doubt you then you work harder and prove them wrong. For example, many people believe that Asian basketball players are not good enough. That gave me modivation to work harder

A Growth Mindset is what some people have and some people do not have. It is working hard and showing perseverance (Not giving up). When I was little, my mom usually bought cookies and put it in the fridge. I really liked cookies, but the fridge was too cold and the treats were in a high place in the fridge. I didn't give up and "climbed" the fridge. I fell, got a bruise, and got up to work harder to get the cookies.

You have to believe that you can succeed, learn, and become better at what you like. Even if you fail, you have to keep trying to have a better chance next time at accomplishing your goals. One example of having a growth mindset is in basketball, or any sport. If you are in a big tournament and make it to the semi-finals but lose, you shouldn't give up. You should try harder so next year you can win!

A growth mindset is something that some people have. If you have a growth mindset, then you wouldn't give up, and even if you failed you would still have perseverance. A growth mindset is when a person never gives up on a goal, and keeps trying and trying until they reach success. If someone with a growth mindset got a F on their test, they wouldn't get upset and try harder and better next time. If someone with a fixed mindset got an F on their test, they would just give up.

There are two different types of mindsets, a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. People with fixed mindsets always think there the best, and do not show how dumb they really are. They also give up on things they don't think they can accomplish. People with growth mindsets learn very easily, and are not afraid to ask questions. When people with fixed mindsets give up on challenges and stay where they are, people with growth mindsets will keep trying, and finally succeed. For example, one time when I took a quiz, I got a really bad grade. I was a bit upset, but I worked harder and got a very good grade on the next test.
