Cognition is a term used to describe the process of thinking. It relates to our ability to perceive and think for ourselves. Cognition can be what makes us ourselves because cognition allows us to think for ourselves and have our own opinions, personality, etc
Our cognition isn't always correct as we often allow biases among other things to influence our thoughts

Superior autobiographical memory is when people remember details for very long periods of time. For example, one could remember the date and time and what they were doing years ago.
It can be sometimes a good thing, when you know a lot of information, but can also be a bad thing as one can't forget unimportant information
It is often an automatic response as there is very little effort that goes into remembering small details from long ago.
It is still a very new phenomenon in the study of memory as many new scientists are attempting to understand it
Remembering days can also trigger emotions that one felt on that day
