Knowledge can be defined as the collection of facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education. It encompasses both theoretical understanding and practical application, allowing individuals to comprehend and engage with the world around them.

A well-rounded definition includes three key components:

Information: Data or facts that can be processed and understood.

Understanding: The ability to grasp concepts and make connections between different pieces of information.

Application: The capacity to use knowledge effectively in real-life situations.

For a more nuanced perspective, here’s a popular philosophical definition: Knowledge is often described as "justified true belief." This means that for someone to know something, it must be true, they must believe it, and there must be justification for that belief.

Based on other definitions and some web searching on the Internet, my take on defining knowledge would be 2 key components:

The Theoretical Part:

Where the learner studies and tries to understand the basics of that subject. Whether it would be through reading factual information, seeing info graphics, analyzing raw data, watching/reading a long detailed video/document.

The Practical Part:

Where the learner after understanding the concept of that subject either try's it through step by step guides or does it all alone, maybe experiments with it to understand better, goes through trial and error, etc. to get used to solving problems through using certain theories the learner learned.

True knowledge of a subject would not exist if 1 of the key components didn't happen. Someone can't do the Practical Part without knowing the theory, do's and don't and how's behind it. Neither through knowing only the Theory and never practicing it to prove the theory holds together with the reality.

Knowledge of facts, also called propositional knowledge, is often characterized as true belief that is distinct from opinion or guesswork by virtue of justification.Knowledge is a form of familiarity, awareness, understanding, or acquaintance. It often involves the possession of information learned through experience and can be understood as a cognitive success or an epistemic contact with reality, like making a discovery. Many academic definitions focus on propositional knowledge in the form of believing certain facts, as in "I know that Dave is at home".Other types of knowledge include knowledge-how in the form of practical competence, as in "she knows how to swim", and knowledge by acquaintance as a familiarity with the known object based on previous direct experience, like knowing someone personally.

Knowledge is generally explained as the sum of information, skills, and comprehension that people acquire by experience, learning, or reasoning. It can be considered more than just possession of the facts; it involves an ability to support and use what is known with efficiency.

Traditionally, philosophers divide knowledge into three categories:

Propositional Knowledge: Knowing that some fact or statement is true. Examples are statements of factual or scientific knowledge: "Water boils at 100°C".
Procedural Knowledge: The knowledge of skills or how things are done, such as riding a bike or solving a math problem.
Personal Knowledge: It is personal and particular to the person and may be unique and could be relevant to the recognition of a face.

In turn, knowledge must also be justified, beliefs must be proven by evidence or some other good reasoning. Foundationalism and coherentism are among the many theories that study in what way beliefs could be believed to be justified.

Pragmatically, knowledge will involve realms as varied as cultural understanding, emotional quotient, and social cognition, and importantly, is in constant evolution through processes of inquiry and discovery .

This broad definition brings to the fore knowledge's dynamism, not just static information, but how that information is interpreted and applied in the world.

Knowledge is an awareness of facts, a familiarity with individuals and situations, or a practical skill. Knowledge can be produced in many ways. The main source of empirical knowledge is perception, which involves the usage of the senses to learn about the external world.
