In my mind, ICU is a place of death and depression. I stay two days here, every day I saw people crying and anxiety about this enclosed space. Many people end up in ICU, young or old.
When a person leaves, the behaviour of around people, is very different, it is easy to find people’s thoughts and interest relationship.

ICU is an emergency.
This records my family from the time of hospitalisation to the time of pass away.

In my observation, people use forms to mask sadness.
In the beginning I attended a traditional funeral in Chinese rural, Funeral will be held in a shop near the street, family members need to wear white clothes and sitting around the coffin with the dead for seven days, they will burn some gold and silver paper to express grief, guest will cry, or force people cry, old people think that crying is prove your sadness and deceased was important for you, so people will have fake cry or cry when they attend a funeral. After seven days, family and guest will wear white clothes to walk to crop land and bury the dead, will be ask to cry all the way , until the dead are buried. The more guest follow, the more people will feel the deceased benefited many others in life.
This traditional has become a rarity in China. The deceased will cremated at nowadays. Funerals have also become more civilised. Through the phenomenon of the past, I can feel that people use complicated forms to miss the dead, and traditional forms will force people’s feelings. At present, I found that forms will made families tired and busy in complex, that can reduce the missing of the deceased and reduce the sadness, to avoid bringing more sadness. Many visitors do not grieve for the dead, and they come for interest, but they can also disperse the sadness.
Now, the simplicity of funerals seems like to make the process more painful than past forms. But for now, people are just changing ways to reduce the pain.

In contrast, the only constant is expression and transmission, such as the expression of sadness and the transmission of sadness to the guests and the surrounding environment. 
The point I want to explore is the transmission of information. That’s a way or a way to convey certain information to others. The information could be emotion, language or behaviour, something can be spread. In the process of  spread information, it is through the processing and expression of known information. The information we are receiving from the result of many people. Everyone is very different, and it is inevitable to have biased transmission in the process, which makes me suspect everything. Such a process has a sense of disorder and uncontrollable, which is also the point I want to explore and feel personally. I choose performance to realise it, to create a huge reaction after transmitting and receiving information.
This work is a collaborative work in an art museum in China. It is divided into two chapters, one lasting 30 minutes. This time, the audience is the final target.
The performance is a collaboration with musicians, a dancer and an event, a opening ceremony with a live audience.The whole performance is a process from improvisation music to performance and then to the audience, all of which are improvisations.
Chapter 1
Musicians creating his points, performer will cooperate according to the understanding of the music on the stage of behaviour, and the audience to receive our expression, we will lead the audience to the stage to draw. Instant painting is a great form to reflect people’s understanding of two pieces of information after the performance, The show will until to the end.
Chapter 2
the performance will be more radical, and the expression will be more personal, like a more extreme personal processing after receiving the information. The audience will still participate in the creation, but it will based on the creation of the first chapter left on the canvas, which will affect the judgment and thinking of the audience more, and then to make some effect on the expression. I think when the show is over, I've finished my theme. To creating a disordered information transmission effect, and the result of the painting must be unexpected.

Statement: The performance belongs to everyone and the intention belongs to me personally. No one but me knows the meaning, the personal expression.

The artist uses incense ash as a medium to create works. Incense ash, for me, has a superstitious meaning and is a kind of spiritual sustenance. It looks very morbid when burning incense and worshiping Buddha. In my opinion, the artist has pushed the meaning to a new level, using incense ash as a symbol of spirit and nothingness to create this painting. A group of people come together with a sense of nothingness and directionless, which seems morbid and meaningless, but it does have an effect later on. It's like something that's going to disappear but doesn't exist.
