A good way to do this is by saying the following when initially meeting, 

Y/n (y/n = your name): Hi I'm Y/n, and my pronouns are (your pronouns here). And you are? 
Your new acquaintance: Oh, I'm ( their name), and my pronouns are they/them (example)! Thank you so much for asking. 

This can make a person's day or even week, and make them comfortable around you since you are referring to them properly and or their preferred way. Everyone is different and although you may think you can look at someone and know their gender right away ; that is not always the case. Therefore, it is also important to be aware of this around and for adults, teens, and even kids! Kids know and are aware of more then you know.

NO ONE'S gender identity should be assumed nor talked about negatively. Everyone is beautiful in their own special way! 

Equally important is, the difference between someone's sex and gender. Sex is something you are assigned at birth based on your body parts, while gender focuses more on what you feel you truly are on the inside. Your gender can be determined by no one but yourself. That is correct, not even your parents nor anyone else. Your life, is yours, embrace the fact that you have control over that.

- Bi gender
- Intersex persons
- Etc!
