Google Classroom is a free app by Google for teachers and students. It helps you do homework, get feedback, and talk with your class in an easy way.

1. Go to classroom.google.com

2. Click “Go to Classroom”

3. Sign in with your Google account (like Gmail)

4. Choose if you're a Teacher or a Student

• You’ll see your Dashboard with classes.

• Click a class card to enter a class.

• Use the “+” button to join a class with a code or create one.

Stream (News)

• Teachers post announcements or homework.

• You can comment or ask questions.

Classwork (Tasks)

• You see your assignments, tests, and materials.

• Click an assignment, do it, and submit your work.

People

• Shows all students and teachers in the class.

• Teachers can add students or invite them with a code.

Grades

• Shows your grades and progress.

• Teachers can give you feedback.

Settings (gear icon)

• Teachers can edit class details and permissions.

• To do homework (Create an assignment):

  1. Go to Classwork → Create → Assignment

  2. Write title and instructions

  3. Attach files or link a Google Doc

  4. Set due date

  5. Click Assign

• To submit homework:

  1. Open an assignment

  2. Click “Add or create” and attach your work

  3. Click Turn in

• To see your grades:

  1. Go to Grades tab

  2. Check your scores and feedback

• To join a class:

  1. Click the “+” on dashboard

  2. Choose “Join class”

  3. Enter class code

• To post in class:

  1. Go to Stream

  2. Write your message like “Can you explain question 3?”

  3. Click Post

Google Classroom is super easy: you can do homework, join classes, talk with teachers, and see your grades—all online. It works great if your school uses it or if you want to do remote classes.
