  • Have I formulated the request(s) properly? (Note: Keep up to 2 requests in one email, overwise it may sound very ambiguous.)
  • Spelling errors? Have you run your email through a spell check?Appropriate punctuation? Accurate information?
  • Have you mentioned any documents or froms to read or fill in? (Note: Always tell your recipient when you have attached a document.)
  • Have you made sure that your email comply with academic email etiquette? Have you considered all possible cultural components in the emails?
  • Have I signed off the email?
  • Is the email address of the recipient correct? (Note: Add the email address last, if you don't want to send an email accidentally before you have finished writing and proofing the message.)
