Yes it would be possible but a lot would have to change to make this possible. If the sun would stop producing heat then everywhere we walk and stay will need to be equipped with technology that will warm the air in our surroundings as the first thing would happen is that the weather would become extremely cold. The 2nd thing that would be a problem is plants. Plants would start to die but there are quite a few plants that can be grown via heat without the need of sunlight. the third thing that would need to happen is breed animals in enclosed areas where heat can be stored so they don't freeze to death. The fourth thing that would need to happen is that crops that are needed for consumption of animals will need to be also grown indoors to retain heat in the air and make possible growing conditions for them (hydroponics). The last thing that would need to happen is to lower the population. There would not be enough resources to be able to save everyone from another snowball earth taking place. The circumstances do seem to be quite impossible to survive in but I feel due to our advances in technology and knowledge could save us from this drastic event

The main issue would be energy, the sun is used to power a lot of our day to day things as well as earths natural sources. If all the plants die every other living thing on the food web will also die because there will be no energy going up the food chain. Each level of the food cycle will slowly die.
