8736 Confed Road

Dear. whoever will find me after the battle

I am William Johns, one of the confederate soldier who fought the war in Gettysburg. The situation is not good. Almost 25,000 soldiers had die in the field, many soldiers got injured but still fighting because we want our freedom. Confederate side has no proper clothes, shoes, foods, nor weapons. I am pretty sure that most soldiers in our side include me will going to die.. Even though I didn't own slaves.. Even though many people didn't own slaves.. I am regretting that I didn't do anything before this war broke. Oh I have to go.... I can hear the marching band.. I hope no one can see this letter..
If anyone see this letter please go tell my kids and my wife that I love them so much.
Thank you.

From. William Johns

The Civil War in Gettysburg and the Holocaust has a similar message that give us. In the Gettysburg, most victims of the civil war had done nothing and also the victims of the Holocaust, which are the Jews also had nothing done. Most of them were not even close to what others were arguing about. However, even though they did nothing wrong, most of them did nothing to protect themselves nor helping others.
