Nellie: I'm glad you liked it! What would the job be?

Editor: I thinking that you should go under cover in New York's Lunatic Asylum on Blackwell's Island. You could act mentally ill and record how the patients are treated.

Nellie: I think that that's an amazing idea! Those places seem horrible, and maybe if somebody reports on what goes on there, there will be some changes. 

Editor: Great! I can see this becoming huge! You will pretend to be ill for ten days, report what happens, and then after that I will get you out of there.

Nellie: Sounds good! I promise I won't let you down!

After Nellie went to the Asylum she reported on how the patients were treated, she helped fix many of the in-justices the patients went through. For example she figured out the that there were 16 doctors taking care of 1600 patients, that many of the people could not communicate because of a language barrier, and that many of the rooms were unsanitary.
