         <description><![CDATA[<div>I would use Braining Camp's virtual manipulatives to establish a <br>"concrete/representational" understanding of place value. I think I would also utilize Jamboard so we could compare &amp; contrast different values via screenshots of our work from Braining Camp... For students who struggle with number order, I would use a virtual number line or virtual hundred chart. For advanced/proficient students, I would introduce greater place values. Proficient students could partner up and compare and contrast numbers that they can make using the same digits. (Example: 21,345 &lt; 31,245)</div>]]></description>

         <title>Some of the things that I include are components such as online videos, interactive read alouds, hands-on demonstrations to begin my lessons.  I also have guided various performance tasks where students are able to work in the standard.  For comparing and contrasting, we use Venn diagrams, Bubble Maps, T-Charts, Character Maps, Pictures, and more tools for students to use.  Discussion are great for kids who love to share verbally as well.</title>

For practice students can choose their favorite manipulative to represent numbers.
