In my opinion this report appears to be legitimate. The way the information is being presented doesn't allow for interpretation. They simply lay out facts surrounding the case, and don't assume anything beyond the information they are given.

It says in the article that scientific phenomena converge to periodically deposit feet of the Salish sea. That right there alone can change the way people believe in this being something more and using the red flag, reasons for belief. Also, theres been multiple suicides around the coast and people usually can get swept in the ocean and the body overtime will break down. That could also be another solution to this weird event because hands are feet are usually the first to break down.

It was discovered by a couple walking their dog and this has been one of many incidents over the past decade. Although it has been happening over the past decade, people may think it because of murders but it was been confirmed by RCMP officers and the "coroner service" that there was no foul play the bodies and that they have likely been in the water for years. The bodies were also claimed to be deceased for a long time. The randomness of the feet washing up could get people to believe its something horrific but its been shown to not be the case.

Since 2007 there had been many feet found washing up on shore in the area. These reports were brought back to light when a local woman discovered another one recently. There are no available red flags that I can find in this video, they make no assumptions they simply present facts. There is well documented police proof combined with confirmed pictures of the feet that confirm the stories surrounding these feet. The families expressed their condolences and expressed how they felt just anyone who found this would express their feelings. The people had no reason to believe it was a murder and they got confirmation right away and they essentially described how anyone would want to know who it was no matter how many years and months its been.

The reason for belief would be because people see a shoe and a foot and anyone who doesn't know about the topic may automatically think someone was killed or something like that.
