Good day, universe! My name is Rhenalyn B. Manlakat, nal for short, but you can also call me Nalyn, Lyn, Rhen, Little Na, and Chunli. Chunli is my new nickname in school that is not relevant to my name. One of the instructors gave me that nickname, and till now, my classmates and friends have used it to call me. At first, I was annoyed, but as time goes by, I have come to accept that nickname. I'm now 20 years old and turning 21 on December 28, the same birthday as my father, so it's a double celebration. I'm the only girl in our family. I'm residing in Kabkaban, Tuburan, and Cebu, but I always visit my grandparents on weekends. I love playing badminton. My hobbies are watching Korean and Chinese historical dramas because I love historical dramas so much. Their costumes are top-notch, and I really love history. I also love to watch anime. I love the beach, although I don't know how to swim. I really love to travel to beaches because it gives me relaxation and peace. In the future, if I were financially capable, I would really build my house near the shores and collect artefacts and antics. My motto in life is: do not write down your goals and ambitions because they can be prompted; do not talk because it can only be a dream; do it in action so that it can be proven.

My biggest fear is standing in front of so many people. I'm an introverted person, and I don't have so much confidence when it comes to communicating with various people at the same time. but I'm also very talkative and happy to be with the person or people I'm comfortable with. I am also afraid of losing someone in my journey towards my goals because I want all who help me, encourage me, and motivate me to see my success in life, especially my family. I really cherish bad or good memories that happen to me because I know that they give me lessons that I could apply in my life. Being pressured is also my biggest fear because, as a student, I know people around me have huge expectations of what I could become in the future and what work I could do when I graduate, if I can be successful and find a stable job, and I'm afraid to think about what my future could be. I have so many what-if's in my mind, but then again, thanks to the people who are always there for me to guide me and advise me. Although this is my biggest fear, I will face this challenge and turn this into my biggest strength and weapon to achieve my goals.

In this progressive world, what keeps me going are myself, my family, and those who look down on me; they hold a big portion of my motivation to continue my studies and plan my goals, as well as my wants in life. My family always cheers for me through my ups and downs. My mother knows how I cried with those struggles. My father always advises me to keep going, not fast but slow, because in life there is no easy way to success; you need to have a strategy and plan, just like how my father and mother provide for us. So they are the ones who keep me going, although sometimes I really want to quit because I've tried to fight and continue, but then again, I always remember how my parents sacrificed so much, so how can I quit? I know my parents keep going and provide me financially with my studies. I really want them to witness my hardships bloom into success because I want to spoil them with love and the things they want in life. Providing them with what they need and travelling them to their favourite destination. Also, those people who look down on me will serve as my stepping stones towards my goal.

<var> </var>
