First we are going to start off with our D which is Distribute. There is nothing to distribute so we're going to move the smaller variable to the larger variable's side. In this problem 6n is larger so I subtracted 3n from both sides. After you do that you should rewrite the problem so that you will be left with a 2 step equation. From there you would subtract 20 from both sides because 20-20 cancels out to 0 and whatever you do to one side you must do to the other. This leaves you with 3n=15. The last thing you do is divide both sides by 3.
