Aim: To get students to make an effective table

Timing: 30 minutes

Create a table on Google Slides. The table can be about anything the learners want. Learners will add their own slide to the Google Slide attached. Learners will put their name as the title of the page. They will also need to have a title for their table.

Aim: To introduce students to different features on presentations

Timing: 10 minutes

Resources: YouTube and Padlet

Students will watch the short YouTube video by Kevin Stratvert.

Using padlet they will make a short tweet about two of their favourite features from the video and how to use them. The Tweet should be short and sweet. It should be like an advertisement to other people to use these features.

Aim: To get students to find new features

Timing: 15 minutes

Resources: PowerPoint and Padlet

Get students to explore the different features on presentations by themselves.

Working on their own, students will create a post on padlet about a new feature they found.

Students are to add their own slide to the google slide about some of the many features of presentations. Each student must do a slide on a different feature.

Aim: To give students an understanding of accessibility in presentation

Student will watch the video which is 7 minutes and 24 seconds long. They have a couple of extra minutes if there is a part they want to rewatch or to look at the presentation itself.
