         <description><![CDATA[<div>As educators, I think that we all can agree that our students learn better in small groups. Element 7: Organizing Students to Interact with New Knowledge, as stated in our textbook, “…encourages teachers to organize students into pairs, triads, or small groups of four to discuss small chunks of content” (Magana &amp; Marzano, 2014).          <description><![CDATA[<div>Grouping for Active Processing is where the teachers have their students in small groups, divided equally with boys and girls, based on their levels of understanding. After the teacher gives a chunk of information, being in their groups to discuss the information this gives the students opportunities to observe the different ways their peers process the same information. Students hearing their peers’ perspectives really can enrich their own processing of information. Job Cards are cards that teachers hand out to each group member, which indicates their “designated” jobs or roles, for which each group member is responsible. This ensures that each group member participates equally throughout the groups.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students could take digital notes during their group discussions using Evernote. Our textbook states, “Such technology tools can enhance this process by making those notes readily available to the student at any time and through a variety of devices such as laptops, tablets, or student’s mobile devices” (Magana &amp; Marzano, 2014). Students could also create diagrams or flowcharts to represent their group’s ideas.          <title>Implementation Tips</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I rank my students’ reading scores they receive after taking the STAR Reading test. I write down the number of groups I have in my classroom. I start writing down a name in each group and keep rotating until I am done with my class list. This way each group will have a high, medium-high, medium-low, and low student. After the groups are made, they stay there for about four-and-a-half to six weeks before changing again. I also do a lot of Kagan structures, like Jigsaw, which was mentioned in the video. I also use a name selector software to choose my students randomly.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
