2. The Shepherd had to not marry because he was so busy tending to the sheep, but they could sell the sheep and the wool in order to make money.
3. Priests were the only people at that time who were fully educated. However, they could not marry.

A con of being a shepard is having to be a solitary man with no children, and a pro is being able to tend sheep to make enough money to survive. A con of being a priest is not being able to marry a pro is being a priest was an honor because of how important religion was. I would be a shepard, because I get to look after sheep and make just enough money in order to survive.
