During this learning cycle, we may be looking at the concept revolving around patriarchy and gender imbalance. I assume we will be studying different forms of content to further extend our knowledge on this topic to analyse exactly how stereotypes, gender norms etc work. The imbalance between the two genders has, unfortunately, been forever encouraged and although may seem to have improved in modern society, there are still subtle hints of inequality that take a fair bit of magnifying to uncover. Those subtle hints of imbalance can be recognised through different forms of literature/subjects, and thus the idea of genders, stereotypes, inequality, imbalance & female patriarchy will be studied in order to be further understood.

This commerical is attempting to influence society that the phrase 'like a girl' is a positive statement, and in further extent, females in general are positivity. By displaying a variety of individuals (male & female) and requesting them to perform a series of tasks 'like a girl', the unfortunate truth is that many have stereotyped ladies/girls to be viewed as inferior. Over decades, people have transformed the phrase 'like a girl' to such a negative description to the point where it humiliates the entire population of females, making those who aren't, feel superior. 'Like a girl' has become such a harsh & stereotyped phrase to use to describe somebody who may appear as weak or slower in abilities that it now is something to be ashamed of. This video is encouraging feminisim and more equality for women as the same for men, by saying that 'like a girl' is a good thing to be associated with.
