  • Select-to-Speak is faster at processing inaccessible text than Snap&Read
  • Snap&Read has more natural sounding voices (... maybe that’s subjective)
  • Once text is OCR scanned
    • Snap&Read allows the user to choose to start reading anywhere in the scanned text, and to reread only sections that they wish to hear again.
    • Select-to-Speak will only read the whole passage again unless you start the process over again by clicking on the Select-to-Speak icon in the dock then clicking on the text you'd like read
