Motivating.<br><br><strong>Subordinate Reactions:</strong><br>- Trusting of the leader<br>- Willingness to perform better for a leader that is trusted<br>- Inspired to try to achieve new goals<br>- Intimidated by the leader's knowledge<br><br><strong>Benefits to Organizational Efficiency:</strong><br>- A confident leader can be a positive motivator to follow new directions or take on new challenges (convince people that a new process is a good idea)<br>- Confident leaders build trust that can lead to less employee turnover<br><br><strong>Challenges to Organizational Efficiency: </strong><br>- Confidence displayed as arrogance can lead to conflict<br>-  Lack of confidence can jeopardize when leaders are unsure about decisions that need to be made.<br> <br><br></div>]]></description>

Transparent.  Personable.<br><br><strong>Subordinate Reactions:</strong><br>- Trusting of the leader<br>- They feel heard, understood, and cared for <br>- Willingness to work harder for the leader who believes in them<br><br><strong>Benefits to Organizational Efficiency:</strong><br>- An empathetic leader makes sharing difficult information easier (change management)<br>- Understanding different perspectives can help with making decisions that are easier to accept or can help with developing messaging<br><br><strong>Challenges to Organizational Efficiency: </strong><br>- Inability to connect emotionally or acknowledge emotional situations empathetically can lead to detachment and employee dissatisfaction. The work environment may suffer as well as the work product<br>-  Failure to listen to employees input and remove roadblocks to their success can have a negative impact their client service delivery<br> <br><br></div>]]></description>
