But when she walked back to Maurice. She asked him if he wanted to join her to eat. Which is generosity, but those days became to every Monday. Later on it became everyday. Lauren offered him her lunch money but Maurice didn't want her money. Instead he wanted a brown paper bag for him it means like when somebody has a brown paper bag it means they are loved. Which is resilience. He is recovering himself because he is going to the right path because of Lauren. Maurice might not achieve success but what important is that at least he has love. Generosity is when someone is kind and helps someone out and is a nice person to other people its where they are generous to people.
Perseverance is when someone has the strength to keep doing something and push harder to get better at it.

And in the text Maurice is generous to the panhandler and she gives him food every week and eventually its like they become family.
