         <title>Monarchy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A Monarchy means a single ruler.<br><br>In ancient Greece the kings eldest son would be the heir to the thrown. Monarchies lasted at around 1200 B.C.E during that time they were not able to get raw metals because the other trading routes have been closed because of fighting. Since the had no raw metal to make weapons, as a result, they couldn't have conquered any land.     </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A city-state is a land controlled by a government.<br>A city-state might be around the same area as a country. <br> <br>In ancient Greece the kings in each city-state would live in the capital city at a lavish fortress palace. Each of the city-states had it's own government, army, and traditions but they all worshiped the same gods and spoke the same language. A city-state might be around the same area as a country. The most powerful city- states are Athens, Sparta, Corinth, and Megara.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A oligarchy is a country, organization, or institution ruled by a small group of people.<br>  <br>Oligarchies lasted around 1100 to 800 B.C.E. Oligarchies inherited wealth and power from their families, over time this changed and the rich were just chosen to make up the Oligarchies.The Political power was mostly shared among the aristocrats. The oligarchies ruled very harshly and eventually the citizens overthrew the oligarchies.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A tyranny is a person that takes over by force.<br><br>I ancient Greece Tyrannies first started during the mid 600 B.C.E. In city-states the wealthy people became angry with their kings, when the middle class demanded political and social privileges to accompany their newfound wealth and the Oligarchies refused to give them what they desired. Individuals that were mainly military would then seize the power from the ruling group.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Where the citizens get to vote for a ruler or something important.<br><br>Democracy began in ancient Greece at around 500 B.C.E in the city-state of Athenian, at this time many people started to dislike the rule about tyrants. Athenian's main governing democracy was the citizens Assembly.<br>Only 5,000 people attended to the Assembly but the Assembly was open to 30,000-40,000 adult male citizens, but they only met every 40 years to discus very important things like laws.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
