Some intentional exchanges were olive trees to the New World, coffee, ginger, sugar and cotton to the New World for the purpose of trading them back. Important animals like pigs and horses were brought to Americas intentionally. Wheat was planted out of curiosity unintentionally and therefore lead to the addition of bread in Peru. The introduction of smallpox, measles and malaria was accidental.

Another bad consequence was new genetic disorders between different races mating, causing good and bad mutations to occur. Brought about diversity between the countries later on and now today our community is mixed and unique. The extinction of some species also occured in this process because they needed resources and they would hunt one specific animal until they became extinct.
