This book is about a boy named Nicki who accidentally drops his mitten in the snow. One by one, animals such as a mouse, rabbit, mole, fox, badger, hedgehog, owl, and bear find the mitten and wedge their way into it. The animals think it is a warm and cozy hideout during the cold blustery winter. As they all try to stuff themselves in the tight mitten, the big brown bear sneezes and BOOM, the mitten breaks open because it was so tightly stuffed with all the animals in it. In the end, Nicki found his white mitten in the distance against the blue sky.

This book is about a boy who takes an adventure in the forest. He leaves his umbrella at the foot of a fig tree, next to a river and continues to explore. When he is not looking, several animals jump into the umbrella, each one bigger than the last. Starting with a tiny tree frog, then follows a toucan, then a kinkajou, a baby tapir, a quetzal, a monkey, and a jaguar! The umbrella is sinking deeper and deeper into the water. Eventually, the umbrella tumbles over and everyone falls out. Meanwhile, Carlos is going animal sighting and wonders where they all could be!

Henny doesn’t like Tomten taking her eggs but she doesn’t do anything. One day, Henny sees a goose and her goslings and realizes that she wants chicks of her own someday. But she doesn't know how she would ever be able to lay eggs if the Tomten keeps stealing them from her every morning. She tries to trick the Tomten by having him take an acorn, strawberry, mushroom and potato but the Tomten is never quite satisfied. With the help of her good friend, Hedgie, she is able to trick the Tomten with a clever plan.

This book shows the traditional story of The Night Before Christmas with new illustrations that capture the story in it’s own unique way. The colorful illustrations help show the perspective from some of the characters in the story. There is Santa eating cookies, the reindeer on top of the roof, the presents under the Christmas tree, the stocking being stuffed, clear descriptions of what Santa is wearing, and expressions on the reindeer's faces. His elves came along to help him deliver the presents too. This is a favorite holiday classic story, loved by children and adults, told in Jan Brett style!

This book is about a girl named Lisa who took her woolen clothes outside and hung them up in the fresh air. One of her stockings blew off the clothing line and Hedgie the hedgehog found it. He wore his new hat with pride as he showed all the other animals. The hen, gander, cat, farmer's dog, pig, and horse all made fun of Hedgie’s silly hat that he was wearing everywhere. Hedgie didn’t like being made fun of. Eventually, Lisa caught up to Hedgie and pulled the stocking off Hedgie’s head and went to put it back on the clothing line. Lisa realized that ALL of her clothing items were missing! She saw all of the animals taking her clothing and wearing it as hats!

This book is about a girl named Mei Mei who owns six hens. The smallest of the hens was named Daisy. Daisy always got picked on by the other hens every night. They teased her so she decided to sleep on the floor. One day it rained all day and the hens flew up to their perch except Daisy. She was outside finding a place to stay the night. Before she knew it, she was headed down a river and came across many different animals. A man found Daisy and brought her to a market. Luckily, Mei Mei was on her way to the market too. She saw Daisy from a distance and was relieved that her special hen was alright.

A couple of suggestions: 1. I would make a separate comment box. I know that you have options for people to comment on the actual contents, but an actual comment box would be better. Right now, anyone with your link can modify your page. If you change the settings and then create a comment box, that would allow people to just put a comment. 2. Label your "external websites". You can give them titles and I think that would help your readers (especially if you want to use this with children) to know what it is they are looking at. I really like the layout of your page. It is easy to find the information and it is visually appealing. Nice work.
