If I remember correctly, mine was something called a Pangolin, it had pointy-looking scales. Along with a very long tail! Even though it looked a bit scary and intimidating, it was super soft if I remember.

Why? I'm not sure how they knew... but the chief elder told me that since I'm so great with calming people down, especially the eights..she would put me in with the rest of the nurturers when I turned 12 to see if i'd fit in. I was scared, but I learned that even though they've been working much longer than me, and were probably way older..that they treated me like an adult! it felt good to be called mature.

What do you think about Jonas?

Jonas? oh, I know him, he had gotten chosen as the receiver a few months ago, I don't know him personally, I see him kind of like an acquaintance. I never see him around anymore though, he's silent and doesn't talk to anyone, I hope he's okay.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting it, but so far, it's okay, I don't enjoy all the responsibility and.. well, crying. BUT, I love spending my days with the new children they're so cute!

How do you feel about civil rights?

Civil rights? I'm not nosy... but I heard Jonas talking about how it means to be free, to do whatever you want. I asked my mother and she said that would be absolute..chaos, a word I'd never heard before. But it doesn't sound happy.
