Graded course book listening activities are valuable to prepare and manage a great lesson according to your classroom level, it is less risky and time saver.
Authentic listening materials are great to expose learners to natural, real language at a natural pace. It helps ss to learn more vocabulary inspire it is challenging.
We must plan a pre while and post listening activities to involve ss in. It is receptive individual skill but pre and post activities should make ss produce language

The classrooms are crowded so we don't have enough time to let them all speak and wait for weaker and shy ss. It takes a lot of time to monitor and evaluate.
The major problem is unwillingness to speak and shyness of ss. While speaking they need more confidence to talk in front of the class. They are shy. In listening, the speed of speech and Unknown vocabulary make them not attend the activities.
What I have taken away from this session are to set a positive learning environment for ss to participate in activities, to digitalise speaking hours using apps like flip grid or chatterpix for shy ones or for the teens who are eager to use technology and to correct mistakes in different ways. (peer correction, delayed correction, on the spot correction)

Flipped classroom is exciting, time saver and encouraging.
It gives us to do more creative and productive class activities while ss do nitty gritty parts of the learning to be done at home. Teens love using technology so it is exciting and encouraging.
I have concerns about what of the learners don't do the work outside of class?-They can do it in class but they have to keep up with the classmates and I believe they'd love it because It makes us use of modern day technology and encouraging autonomous learning. The other concern is if ss don't have internet access it limits you while giving the task. Otherwise it is hard to assess the work that ss did.

Implicit grammar is used a lot in my local area
I loved Key ideas-flipped grammar and communicative tasks to integrate ss to use target structure to pass on to local teachers
They will react, there are drawbacks of lippd grammar like ss are lack of tech devices and teachers are not good enough to adapt technology to their lesson plan
I can make my classes more communicative with grammar by using implicit approach, communicative tasks using different activities like drama, information gap, role play, guessing game.

translation will fail in explaining the meaning of vocabulary, because the translator doesn't have a mental image and it isn't memorable
To keep a vocab notebook is really important to store the information about new words kept by ss on their owns
You need to spend time to know a friend better and to learn vocab better spacing is vital and you should use it not to lose it

At first I thought that plc facilitator was responsible for arranging the plc sessions and presenting new techniques and sharing ideas for better lessons whole year. But it is good to learn that Ministry of education sends the topic and timetable.Facilitator is not teaching. Facilitator is just leading the sharing sessions to support the local teachers.Facilitator will ask for other teachers to show demo lessons next time
I have built a nice network here to share materials and ideas via wu or online meetings
