The characters are wearing the costumes which they are dressed in the film as, this is a convention as normally those who are placed on the front cover of movie magazines are shown as the person they play instead of the actors in real life. The masthead also follows the colour theme by being filled in purple, it blends into the background to help show off the "World Exclusive" that the magazine is trying to sell to the audience. By using the same font style their is a connection with all of the products and an audience can become familiar with this film; when they see this style and font an audience realises the connection it has with the film Ex_Machina. The anchorage text is slightly translucent which makes the text look more appealing and as a convention on movie magazines, it tries not to take too much attention away from the main image. The colour of this text is a cool grey which matches the costumes which the characters wear and the mood of the facial expressions which the characters give off.
